JR1600 Progress

My version of the Jelly Roll 1600 was crying out for something. I quilted my top with swirls and I added a narrow flap of red fabric just before attaching the binding. I am now in the process of adding applique ladybugs to my canvas of green grass.

I am adding 5 ladybugs for the 5 FABs.

My ladybugs are only pinned in place. I will spend evenings doing the hand stitching to fix the bugs in place permanently.

Just the right spark of something on that lovely green palette you made! Now some handwork not that you have the section basted in place!

Love the ladybugs - are they flat or 3D? On my monitor they look 3D is there a pattern?

I loved your 1600 ladybugs Norma - even though Lyn kept insisting it was 1600 feet - what a fun project!

Children in Austria love lady bugs! One day my son found an entire "nest" of 100s of tiny, baby bugs and he was so thrilled. Great addition and certainly very Springy! Cheers! Evelyn
