My version of the Jelly Roll 1600 was crying out for something. I quilted my top with swirls and I added a narrow flap of red fabric just before attaching the binding. I am now in the process of adding applique ladybugs to my canvas of green grass.
I am adding 5 ladybugs for the 5 FABs.

Cute cute cuter! I love the ladybugs.
Just the right spark of something on that lovely green palette you made! Now some handwork not that you have the section basted in place!

Wow! Such a cute idea with the ladybugs... what a perfect spring quilt! Love it! :)
Love the ladybugs - are they flat or 3D? On my monitor they look 3D is there a pattern?
I think the ladybugs just make this quilt so fun!! Love the quilting too!
I loved your 1600 ladybugs Norma - even though Lyn kept insisting it was 1600 feet - what a fun project!
Oh the lady bugs are perfect!
The ladybirds are the perfect addition - they bring everything together perfectly. Love your bag further down as well!
Children in Austria love lady bugs! One day my son found an entire "nest" of 100s of tiny, baby bugs and he was so thrilled. Great addition and certainly very Springy! Cheers! Evelyn
Looks great!
Put one at the bottom that is just walking along.
