Daffodil BQ2

This is the latest project that I have been working on. I started this one last weekend. The pattern is BQ2. The daffodil fabric was part of the stash enhancement purchases that were made at the huge sale at Liquidation World back in December 2007. http://silverthimblequilting.blogspot.com/2007/12/stash-busting-efforts.html

This quilt will finish queen size. There are only 30 blocks total in the whole quilt top. That square of daffodil fabric finishes at 12" so that gives you some idea of the size of those flowers!

We have a long range weather forecast of 7 consecutive days of sunshine. It seems appropriate to work on such a bright and cheerful quilt - very reflective of the positive mood around here now that the sun seems to be shining here non-stop! I love summer--bring on the sun!

I am sure impressed with your quilting skills. I know how to piece, put in a layer of padding add the back piece. Now I had planned to tie yarn at the corners of each square. Now can you tell me what is called the "quilting?" If you would be so kind to explain this you can use my e-mail address on my profile. Thank you

That is certainly summery looking. I see we are having more sunshine too - but temps here are a bit higher than you are getting I think - 79 and 81 for most of the next 10 days. Is it cooler up there?

Very striking! I can see why Harold wants to keep this fun, bright quilt at home!

Great quilt I 've made a pattern by them and it was quite easy. You have inspired me I think I will get this pattern as well and try it with some of my stash.
